I don’t know which is worse
Doctor Who ending in my lifetime, and I eventually become uninterested due to inactivity
or Doctor Who continuing past my lifetime, and I don’t live long enough to experience the rest of it
I’m pretty sure this is how the Doctor feels about his companions…
let me just tell you briefly about these amazing camera shots and their symbolism:
shot #1: Thor and Loki as kids are equal with their father almost out of reach for the both of them (his face is out of the shot) - though they are standing next to each other, still Odin is the one separating them.
shot #2: Odin still separates them, thy still are inferior, even though they both have grown to match him (you see Odin fully). However while Loki faces him (yearning to live up to his father’s expectations), it it him Odin shows his back, while his left shoulder is pointed to Thor his true son and only heir, who is not able to look at his father due to his conflict towards him. The brothers now start to turn their backs on each other: the beginning of their paths parting.
in case you thought there weren’t enough reasons for this movie to make me cry like a fucking child.
BUT ACTUALLY I JUST DIED
This should be on every dash. It’s so perfect.

So many bitches are whining about Yahoo’s acquisition of Tumblr and threaten to raid David Karp’s house in Williamsburg. Only thing is, Tumblr owes them nothing because they used it as a free service, and consequently, the company was running out of investor money. Their overhead significantly exceeded any meek revenue they were getting. As we all know, free things come with a price in the end. Nonetheless, Tumblr is in no way going to change as a service after the acquisition.
The bottom line is, Tumblr had the choice to shut down, charge their users subscription fees, flood your dashboard with forcibly inserted, irrelevant ads, or continue to be the same, free service under Yahoo!’s jurisdiction. I don’t know about you, but option 4 sounds best to me.
